Question #5:
Do you love God with all of your heart, mind, soul, body, and strength? (See Exodus 20:3 - You shall have no other gods before me.)
If you do not love God above all else, then you have broken the first and most sacred commandment of them all. We must not love anything or anyone more than God. That includes our spouse, our children, our parents, our jobs, money, or any other thing.
Sadly, the Bible tells us in Psalms 14:2-3 that no man has ever faithfully kept this commandment…
2The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. 3All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
