Here on earth, in a court of law, people are judged according to the laws of man. In much the same way, the Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 that we will all be judged soon according to God's Law on the promised Day of Judgment.
27Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
You can be sure that being judged by a perfectly Just and Holy God will be a fearful event, one that no man will ever want to face.
Thankfully, God is also abundantly merciful and loving, so He has made a provision for us, through the sacrifice and shed blood of Jesus, to be forgiven of our sins and to escape the terrible wrath of His coming judgment!
