To live and enjoy your new Christian life to the fullest, you need to grow in your new relationship with God. When you first receive Christ into your heart, you experience a spiritual re-birth. Just as a new baby is born into this world, and then must begin to grow and learn, you need to grow and learn spiritually as a newborn Christian.

Spiritual growth results from learning about, and trusting in Jesus. The Bible says that a righteous man lives by faith (see Galatians 3:11). To begin to live a life of faith, and to trust God increasingly with every detail of your life, you should begin to do the following:

• Pray to God daily. (see John 15:7)
• Read the Bible daily. (see Acts 17:11) - We suggest that you start reading in the Gospel of John.
• Witness to others about what Christ has done in your life, that they might be saved also. (see Matthew 4:19 and John 15:8)
