Vision East Africa

AGM has been granted permission by the governments of Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and the Southern Sudan's Nairobi office to go ahead and file its corporation papers in these countries. The primary goal is to legally establish AGM in each of these nations and go through the open doors the Lord provides to build relationships with indigenous ministries in these nations, to do field research and needs assessments for potential long term ministry development and involvement. AGM is on course to have some of these objectives met. Towards that end, AGM has:

  • Identified key persons in each of these nations either to partner with or head AGM operations there.
  • Prepared needs assessments for possible long term ministry development in each of these nations.
  • Prepared a training curriculum for discipleship, mission education and for AGAPE LIFE SCHOOL OF MINISTRY to be used in these nations.

AGM is excited about what the Lord has in store for us as we look to the future.

Matthew 28 tells us that we are to reach our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the utmost parts of the earth. With that in mind, we present some short term and long term goals that we are prayerfully pursuing to the honor and glory of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ in the Republic of Uganda which will be the first phase of our ministry involvement.

Vision Uganda

To be effective in Uganda Missions, AGM has already begun the process of establishing as a NGO (Non Governmental Organization) in Uganda with its own governing Board of Directors under Pastor Samuel Kaigo. Already there are 23 pastors in Uganda who have filed their ordination application forms with AGM. We need approximately $900 to accomplish the registration process and to get some of the following projects started:

  • To establish viable church plants in major villages of the interior Uganda.
  • To train godly men and establish ministers in every new church plant.
  • To provide Ministry Training on a mobile basis, to ordain spiritual leaders through Agape Life School of Ministry
  • To train ministers in the provision of home based care under the direction of godly foster parents as opposed to institution based orphanages.
  • To establish AGM churches in Lira and Kitgum districts of Northern Uganda which are considered hotspots and unreachable due to militia insurgents. During evangelism there, we hope also to provide trauma counseling and spiritual care to the IDP's (Internally displaced persons) in the camps, focusing on healing of damaged emotions.

Vision Liberia

The vision for Liberia is to plant 5 new churches in each of the 13 counties there within a five year period. Pastor Amos Gbaa, our Associate from Liberia, would like to spend more time in Liberia next year to start building the Headquarters of the African International Christian Fellowship. He would also like to plant churches in the three African countries that surround and share borders with Liberia – Guinea, Sierra Leone and the Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire). He would also like to train hundreds of church leaders within the same five year period.

Vision Tanzania

Many things are needed for this country. Pastor Kasyanju's vision is to build an office building with toilets and baths; a pastor's home; classrooms for teaching student ministers to plant churches; a dormitory for those students; a hostel to accommodate missionaries and guests coming to minister; and three hub church buildings, one each in Masai, Mtwara region, and Lindi region.

Vision Bangladesh

Future plans for Bangladesh include health care and children ministry with the current ministries. It is not enough to tell people about God's love with our mouth but it is also important to let people experience God's love in practical act. We have been working among the people who are extremely poor and destitute. Medical facilities are not available in the remote areas. They are also illiterate and have no knowledge basic health awareness. Many people suffer from different kinds of deadly diseases without having any medical treatment. It is our desire to provide medical care along with preaching ministry. There are many orphans and destitute children in the villages. They are so deprived from education, nutrition, clothes, shoes and spiritual care. Our future plan is to establish a children's home to provide spiritual care and adequate nutrition and education – a shelter with loving care in a homey atmosphere.

Vision Columbia

Since January 2010 Roddie and Michele Nelson have been on site in Colombia which is the gateway to the rest of South America. 2 schools of ministry have been started and Roddie has been in over 36 different cities and over 50 different churches in Colombia. The Nelsons have been asked to give both counsel and over site to several churches. They are working with several different ministries in order to establish churches throughout South America. Colombia has been going through a great transformation and AGM is thrilled to be part of this revival.

Vision Peru

This year AGM will be part of establishing our first 2 churches in South America in Peru. A team from the states will be accompanied by a team from Colombia and Peru in 2011. They will start in the capital city of Lima where they will begin building relationships with different area pastors. From there the team will go to Pucallpa to establish a church and do a city wide evangelistic crusade. From there the team will then go to Iquitos and do the same thing.

Vision 5000

Agape Global Missions in partnership with Harvesters International Ministries of South Africa, presents Vision 5000. Our vision is to plant 5000 new churches by using a proven church planting model developed by Rev. Steven Loots, president of HIM.

The model is simple. The Hub church plants ten new churches and three more churches are planted from each of the ten. The goal is that each Hub will plant a minimum of 40 new churches in three years. Churches are being planted at an amazing rate. Local churches in South Africa, Malawi, Zambia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Mozambique are taking up the challenge to reach their own cities and towns. AGM / HIM helps them provide evangelism, follow-up discipleship training, and leadership training to all the pastors.
